#IndieGrindSpotlight on #DubGee new album '#Truth'

Dubgee is a rapper, producer, beat maker, label owner, super villain
(DougTree), band member (Treetox) and all around fresh emcee from Vancouver,Canada. Over the past 20 years he has written and produced 5 albums inspired by real events such as the hockey riots, municipal politics and plentyof music festivals. His last release (and first on his own label Beast Van
Records’) was an E.P. he produced and co wrote with Billy Botox titled
“Back on the Grind” under the moniker of Doug Tree.
 His current release,
“Truth” is out now and is the product of a decade of songwriting, being a dad
and a blue collar worker. Dubgee has been gearing up to promote the album
by spending the summer performing the new album with support from Billy
Botox and DJ Wunderkut on the 1’s and 2’s. As early as he can remember, if
there was an instrument in the house, Dub would try to play it. His mom put
him in guitar and piano lessons early in life. He joined his school’s band and
was soon playing clarinet, flute and saxophones. But it was when he could get
access to the brand new synths and keyboards in the band room with built in
sequencers that he found his love for making hip hop beats. In 2019 Dubgee
dropped his latest single “Let The Music Heal Me” featuring Tiago Vasquez.
The single produced by Dubgee captures an uplifting vibe that is perfect for
fans of authentic hip hop with a soul. Look out for Dubgee in 2020 as he
gears up to release an all new Redux version of his latest album “Truth” and
lights up a stage near you!
